Haykakan Zhamanak: Northern Avenue becomes uncomfortable, dilapidated
Yerevan’s Northern Avenue whose construction cost about USD 315 million has become dilapidated during the 5 years of its existence and is currently an uncomfortable area which looks like a construction site, Haykakan Zhamanak reports.
The cause is low-quality construction, according to experts.
“Flagstones on the Avenue are broken and what has remained is not protected. Lamps are broken, the underground part looks like a garbage dump. Yet some planned to turn Northern Avenue into a visiting card of the capital,” the paper says.
