The main message of the joint statement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs is the maintenance of stability in the region and the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, head of the Information Department of the NKR President's office David Babayan told Panorama.am in an interview. 

“The conflict should be resolved exclusively through peaceful means, which is also reiterated by the leaders of the Co-Chair countries,” Babayan said.

The principle of non-use of force is mentioned in all statements of the Co-Chairs and the remaining issues are of minor importance, according to him.

“To keep the region away from undesirable developments and instability is the key task of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs for the present. Now when dialogue is launched between Iran and the U.S., regional stability becomes even more important for the international community,” Babayan said.
