Female Armenian boxers participate in World Youth Boxing Championship
World U15-16 Girls Boxing Championship finished in Bulgaria. Female Armenian boxer Anush Grigoryan (50 kg) won the silver medal at the championship.
Taking into consideration the fact that, as Armenian boxing coach Rafael Mehrabyan says, this is the first participation of female Armenian boxers in a boxing competition, we can say that Anush Grigoryan’s silver and Ani Hovsepyan’s bronze medals are already an achievement, the official website of the Armenian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs said.
The girls have returned to Yerevan this morning.
