Zhoghovurd: Hovik Abrahamyan, Aram Manukyan have private talk
Armenian National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan had a private talk with ANC parliamentary faction secretary Aram Manukyan in parliament yesterday. Aram Manukyan told Zhoghovurd daily that they spoke about putting for discussion in parliament the European Convention on the Compensation of Victims of Violent Crimes, which has been on the parliament’s agenda for about 10 years.
Abrahamyan told Manukyan that the government requested to delay the discussion for about 15 days because there was a need to clarify some issues – in case of adoption of the convention it will be necessary to pay big compensations from the budget, which requires additional expenses, the paper says.
