President attends opening ceremony of Kamaz Armenia trade and service center
President Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening ceremony of the Kamaz Armenia Ltd. trade and service center in Yerevan on Friday, the presidential press service reports.
The President toured the premise of the center, which is opened by Russia’s largest engineering enterprise, group of Kamaz companies, familiarized with the investments, capabilities of the center, services and with the long-term investment polices of Kamaz-Armenia, which envisage opening in all provinces of Armenia technical service centers and programs aimed at the creation of spare parts supply network. In the newly opened center, the President was informed that investments of Kanaz-Armenia Ltd. in Armenian economy are 2 million USD. According to the responsible officials, in the future the company will increase its statutory capital. Currently, the enterprise employs 15 workers with the average annual wage close to 270,000 AMD, and Kamaz-Armenia is planning to double the number of its employees by November 2013.
The opening of the trade and service center was also attended by members of the Armenian government, the Ambassador of Russia to Armenia, the Secretary General of CSTO, stockholder of the company Ruben Vardanyan and a group of Armenian and Russian officials.
