Sports ground opens in Stepanakert’s Old Armenavan district
On October 6, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan attended the opening ceremony of a new sports ground in the Old Armenavan district of Stepanakert.
The President highlighted the existence of such infrastructures in Stepanakert, indicating that they contribute greatly to the development of physical culture and sports as well as popularization of the healthy lifestyle.
President Sahakyan thanked member of the French National Assembly François Rochebloine and other philanthropists who have sponsored the project for supporting Artsakh, considering it a vivid manifestation of friendship.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, Prime Minister Ara Haroutyunyan, other officials and guests from abroad were present at the event, reported the Central Information Department at the Artsakh President’s Office.
