Numerous violations recorded during presidential elections in Azerbaijan

The election headquarters of presidential candidate of the National Council of Democratic Forces Jamil Hasanly reports about violations during the presidential elections in Azerbaijan. According to the Azerbaijani news agency "Turan", Jamil Hasanly’s headquarter stated that at the polling station 46,120th in Jebrail of Gubadli region the NCDF observers had recorded stuffing of a large number of voting ballots as of 07:45 AM, before the elections would start.

In the 1st polling station of the 55th Hachmaz District the local authorities had brought a large number of state employees.
As the Azerbaijani portal "Minval" reports, according to the "Yeni Musavat" reporter, on the 8th polling station, the 13th (Binaqadi) district, the police are standing in front of the door. According to the Electoral Code, the police do not have right to approach polling station closer than 100 meters.

The portal "Minval" has also published a video record about the violations taken place during the electoral process in the city of Sumgait. The record shows how the police control the election process in Sumgait, which is a flagrant violation of the electoral law.

The site also reports that the administration of Republican Perinatal Center is falsifying the elections. In this hospital, identification cards of all patients are collected and by the head doctor. Patients claim that others are to vote instead of them.
In addition, a video-footage was published in social network Facebook presenting a mass ballot stuffing at the 19th poll station of the 98th electoral district in the city of Shamkir.

In its turn, the Azerbaijani service of "Radio Liberty" reports that at the polling station N1 in 91 district of Ujar region no finger marking process of voters is carried out. Those who come to vote are firstly taken to the rooms where the representatives of the Commission are. Then, after meeting the representatives of the Commission, they go into the cabins to vote. The process cannot be observed as the room is tiny, and 5 to 10 voters enter the room at once.

It also reports that the "Radio Liberty" correspondent was forced to leave the polling station N23 of 33rd Khatai region. The journalist presented his documents, but despite this fact he was forbidden to make a record; they closed the door from the inside. At the same time, at the polling station N22 of Surakhani District 32 no recording from close distance is allowed to carry out.

According to the Azerbaijani news agency "APA" incumbent President of Azerbaijan and the presidential candidate of the ruling party, Ilham Aliyev, the presidential candidate of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the "National Revival Movement Party" Faraj Guliyev, a presidential candidate, the chairman of the party of "Modern Musavat" Hafiz Hajiyev voted in the morning. As the "Minval" notes, according to witnesses, Hafiz Hajiyev returned for voting for the second time as the first time he had forgotten his ID card.

News agency "APA" also notes that, according to the Central Electpral Commission of Azerbaijan 937,465 people (18.22% of voters of the country) had already voted as of 10:00.
