Zhamanak: Samvel Alexanyan watched protest from café
A group of activists of civic movement “Let's Free the Monument from the Oligarch” gathered yesterday at Mashtots Park, then marched towards the Covered Market, Zhamanak daily says.
Owner of the Covered Market, Republican MP Samvel Alexanyan was at Malibu Café, near Mashtots Park, at the time. Zhamanak’s correspondent failed to find out what the MP was doing there.
“After speaking at Mashtots Park and making appeals to Alexanyan, the protesters moved to the Covered Market, where Alexanyan’s “supporters” were waiting for them,” the paper says.
