Azerbaijan’s actions can be called terrorism – expert
If it were possible to reach an agreement with Azerbaijan on conducting an international investigation, one of the best solutions would be to carry out an investigation with involvement of international experts on border incidents, said military expert Samvel Babayan when commenting on shootings of civilians by Azeri snipers.
On October 12, Azeri forces opened sniper fire at farmers doing field work as well as at an UAZ car near the border village of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur in Tavush province of Armenia. As a result, resident of the village of Navur Hayk Kosakyan, 30, received a chest wound.
The expert stressed that the actions of Azeri forces can be called terrorism because by infringing on lives of peaceful residents, Azeris solve absolutely different tasks.
“The Armenian side should give a harsh response to the rival, otherwise it is impossible to imagine how else the rival’s activity can be suppressed,” Babayan said.
