Jamalyan: Response of Armenian forces was proportionate
The response of the Armenian Armed Forces was proportionate to the situation, David Jamalyan, Adviser to the Armenian Defense Minister, told Panorama.am, commenting on the action taken by Armenian frontiers in response to Azeri sniper fire.
“The rival endangering life of our soldiers and civilians should be liquidated,” he added.
On October 12, Azeri forces opened sniper fire at farmers doing field work as well as at an UAZ car near the border village of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur in Tavush province of Armenia. As a result, resident of the village of Navur Hayk Kosakyan, 30, received a chest wound.
