Wounded civilian recovering in hospital after surgery
Civilian Hayk Kosakyan, who was wounded by Azeri sniper fire, is out of danger. His surgeon, Hamlet Petrosyan, told Panorama.am that Kosakyan will leave hospital in a few days.
“The bullet had stuck in his chest. We performed surgery to remove the bullet and prescribed treatment. He is currently recovering after surgery and is in a good condition,” said the surgeon.
On October 12, Azeri forces opened sniper fire at farmers doing field work as well as at an UAZ car near the border village of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur in Tavush province of Armenia. As a result, resident of the village of Navur Hayk Kosakyan, 30, received a chest wound and was transported to hospital in Berd.
