President Sargsyan receives Raimonds Pauls
President Serzh Sargsyan received famous composer and pianist, USSR People’s Artist Raimonds Pauls on Monday.
The President welcomed the renowned composer in Armenia and hailed his dedicated service to culture. He noted that for decades Raimonds Pauls’ music has educated millions of people, including thousands of our compatriots who even today receive warmly the famous musician and have been greatly impressed by his concert in Yerevan.
President Serzh Sargsyan presented Raimonds Pauls with the Order of Honor for his contribution to strengthening and development of Armenian-Latvian cultural ties and for significant input to the world music art. The President congratulated the celebrated composer on receiving the RA high state award and wished him new success, the presidential press service reports.
