Ex-Mossad agent tells of special operation carried out to detain terrorists in Baku
An ex-Mossad agent Michael Ross in an interview given to the online edition of “VICE” told about the special operation conducted against the terrorists of "Al-Qaeda" in Baku.
The ex-Mossad agent talking about the recently carried out capture of Abu Anas al-Liby, one of the leaders of "Al-Qaeda", reported that he himself was working on that case together with the CIA. It is assumed that Abu Anas al-Liby has been involved in the attack against the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi in August 1998.
According to him they also managed to identify three other people involved in this terrorist act. “These guys were from the newly rising Egyptian Jihad - we received information that they are hiding in Azerbaijan, and went there to promote their detention in Baku," said M. Ross.
