Alaverdyan: Joining a union does not mean losing sovereignty
Joining a union does not mean losing sovereignty, head of “Against Legal Arbitrariness” Foundation Larisa Alaverdyan told reporters in Yerevan, while commenting on Armenia’s decision to join the Customs Union.
“On the contrary, the sovereignty of a state is seen when it enters some union,” she added.
According to Ms Alaverdyan, despite all allegations, Armenia’s geopolitical position allows it to be a link between the West and the East.
“We can carry out policy of peace, it is in our genes,” she concluded.
