Hraparak: Police enhance monitoring technology
So far, Armenia’s respective structures have been overhearing phone calls of citizens, but now their opportunities will increase. Reliable reports say the Armenian police got new opportunities for control of internet space. The Russian police played an invaluable role in this issue, donating special equipment to their junior partners, Hraparak reports.
The newspaper notes that this summer an Armenian delegation attended a session on the fight against cyber crimes in Sochi, receiving promises of assistance.
“Certain circles are now concerned that the new opportunities will be used against the “internal enemy,” the paper adds.
