No kickbacks in Armenian Health Ministry – Dumanyan
There are no kickbacks in Armenia’s Health Ministry, Minister Derenik Dumanyan said at the press briefing following the discussion of the 2014 draft budget.
“I am speaking on behalf of the Health Ministry and I am responsible for my words,” Dumanyan said.
According to him, the three-fold increase in revenues in the healthcare sector over the past year means that the shadow has decreased three times.
“We have not liquidated the shadow, but we do our utmost to ensure transparency of medical services,” he said.
“We still have much to do and when we bring down the shadow to zero, only then I can say that we have achieved serious progress,” the Minister concluded.
