Hraparak: Struggle for position of Eurasian CCI head
There is already a preliminary agreement on the creation of the Eurasian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) within the Customs Union and the Eurasian Union framework, Hraparak reports, citing its sources. The new body will include Chambers of Commerce and Industry of member countries, including Armenia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is headed by Martin Sargsyan.
The Chamber is agreed to be located in Yerevan. There is a struggle inside the tandem Gagik Tsarukyan-Hovik Abrahamyan-Tigran Sargsyan-other oligarchs for appointing their “man” as head of that body.
“A decision on that candidate is said to have been already made. He is a well known person, but his name is not made public in order not to harm him,” the newspaper notes.
