Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Ambassadors Jacques Faure of France, James Warlick of the United States, Igor Popov of the Russian Federation and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service said.  

The two parties discussed the possible ways of pushing forward the Karabakh peace process. The MG Co-Chairs briefed Nalbandian on their impressions from the Baku meetings.

Mr Nalbandian drew the Co-Chairs’ attention to continuous statements from Baku, which distort the essence and nature of the negotiation process, and the frequent ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan, stressing that they hinder the progress in the negotiations.

The opportunities of organizing a meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in the near future were discussed.
