Hraparak: Ishkhan Zakaryan’s term in office expires today
The term in office of chairman of Armenia’s Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan expires today, according to Hraparak. Legally, he may be nominated again as a candidate for CC head, but the Armenian President reportedly plans to put up another candidate for that position.
“Yesterday, Ishkhan Zakaryan visited the National Assembly, where he met with MP Mher Sedrakyan, who is his son’s godfather. He refused to answer media questions, saying that he will answer the questions after he appears before the parliament. Meanwhile, he did not rule out the possibility of his reappointment,” the newspaper says.
