Actor Vardan Petrosyan to be arrested
A charge has been brought against actor Vardan Petrosyan and a decision has been made to arrest him, the police press service told Panorama.am.
A major car crash occurred in Armenia’s Kotayk province on October 20. A BMW 320 car collided with a VAZ 2121 at the 2nd km of Yeghvard-Yerevan highway, sending the driver of VAZ 2121 and 6 passengers to hospital with injuries. Two of the injured died.
A criminal case was opened under Article 242 part 3 of the Criminal Code.
Renowned Armenian actor Vardan Petrosyan was driving the BMW. He was transported to Erebuni Medical Center with numerous fractures. His condition is currently stable.
