Zhamanak: NA Deputy Speaker owns business
Replying to Zhamanak newspaper’s question about the recent incident in Mashtots Avenue, Deputy Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan said that protesters must obey the law implicitly.
When asked whether she violates the law by doing business because the law prohibits MPs from engaging in business, Naghdalyan said, “I do not say that I do not own a business. Our law does not prohibit owning business, but it demands that an MP must not engage in business. I gave up doing business many years ago.”
