Haykakan Zhamanak: Passerby among those detained in Mashtots Avenue
48-year-old Albert Margaryan, who was one of the 20 persons detained after the recent clash and explosions in Mashtots Avenue, went to solve a pension-related issue on that day and did not come back home, Haykakan Zhamanak says.
According to his friend, Margaryan called her and said that there were explosions and clashes in Mashtots Avenue and that he was detained for some reason and was being taken to a police station.
According to the newspaper, those detained were questioned yesterday. 10 of the detainees were reportedly charged under Article 316 of the Criminal Code (use of violence against a representative of the authorities).
