Armenian parliament starts discussions of bill on NKR independence
Armenia’s National Assembly started today the discussions of the bill on “Recognition of NKR’s independence” submitted by head of Heritage opposition faction Zaruhi Postanjyan.
“This bill was submitted in 2007 and we believe that now it is time to recognize the independence of NKR. It is topical and important, especially in view of the challenges faced by the two Armenian states,” Ms Postanjyan said.
She thinks that the bill must be approved by all MPs. “All MPs must vote for the bill after the discussion.”
