Saribekyan: It is not far away when Karabakh will take part in talks
Regrettably, due to certain circumstances, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic does not directly take part in the negotiations and the Armenian and Karabakh Presidents always meet before and after significant meetings or events and discuss the negotiations and the possible solutions. So, everything is within logic, member of Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, MP Karen Saribekyan told Panorama.am when asked if there is a connection between the planned meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents and the Armenian President’s visit to Artsakh.
The MP said that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan frequently visits Artsakh and visits military units and military posts, which is quite normal.
“It is not far away when Karabakh will directly take part in the talks because there is no alternative to that. In any case, it is up to Karabakh to take the final decision and NKR should take part in the negotiations,” Saribekyan said.
