Armenian killed in Aleppo rocket attack
A rocket hit a central district of Syria’s Aleppo, near a bakery, on Thursday, at about 12:10, said a report published on Perio News’ Facebook page.
There were casualties. Ethnic Armenian Gevorg Poghosian, 47, who was working as a driver, is among those killed in the attack.
Aleppo’s Armenian-populated Villaner neighborhood came under heavy rocket attack on November 13. Five ethnic Armenians were injured in the attack. They have been named as Hakob Davoyan, Harut Pazarpashian, Raffi Perperian, George Gevorg and Tigran Manukian. They were transported to Aleppo University Hospital.
