Haykakan Zhamanak: Postanjyan, Pashinyan fail to meet Shant Harutyunyan
MPs Zaruhi Postanjyan and Nikol Pashinyan visited Nubarashen prison yesterday, but failed to meet with the persons detained in connection with the November 5 incident in Mashtots Avenue, Haykakan Zhamanak daily says.
Pashinyan told Haykakan Zhamanak’s correspondent that they only managed to see - through a peephole - two of the detainees - Avetis Avetisyan and Sevak Mnatsakanyan. When the MPs wanted to enter the cells, they were allowed to do it only after Avetisyan and Mnatsakanyan were taken out of the cells, and were told that the investigator does not allow anyone to meet them.
