Turkish PM Erdogan sues actress over abusive tweet
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has filed a lawsuit against renowned Turkish actress Gonca Vuslateri over an abusive tweet.
Turkey’s Aksam newspaper reported that on June 25, at the time when Erdogan was speaking about the Gezi events in a televised address, the actress posted an abusive tweet about the PM on her Twitter account.
Erdogan’s lawyers try to find out whether the @Gonca_Vuslateri Twitter account belongs to Gonca Vuslateri. The materials presented to the Prosecutor’s Office include a cartoon of the Prime Minister and the abusive tweet posted on the actress’ Twitter account.
