2014 draft budget targets trivial problems – economist
The 2014 draft budget of Armenia is aimed at solution of trivial problems and implementation of state functions, former MP, economist Vardan Bostanjyan told reporters in Yerevan.
“This budget cannot be called complex. Every year an attempt is made to increase it. Yet, its purpose is not clear. In any case, attempts to describe the draft budget as social, unrealistic, developing, expanding, restraining will be just use of interesting words. This budget is aimed at solution of trivial problems and implementation of state functions,” the former MP said.
“Our budget – AMD 1 trillion 200 billion – cannot be considered as large. So, the issue of whether the budget is realistic is driven to the background,” he concluded.
