Armenian President extends condolences to Russian counterpart
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the crash of the passenger plane at an airport in the Russian city of Kazan that killed 50 people.
According to the presidential press service, the President expressed his deep condolences over the death of the passengers and conveyed his sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims.
On November 17, a passenger plane crashed at an airport in the Russian city of Kazan, killing all 50 people on board. There were 44 passengers and six crew members on the Tatarstan Airlines flight.
There are no Armenian citizens or ethnic Armenians among the crash victims, the Armenian Emergency Ministry reported, citing the Russian Emergency Ministry.
