Haykakan Zhamanak: Arthur Baghdasaryan did not discuss Armenian-Turkish relations with Swiss President
The request of Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu regarding Armenian-Turkish relations was not discussed at the meeting between Armenian National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan and Swiss President Ueli Maurer last week, NSC spokesman Arthur Misakyan told Haykakan Zhamanak.
The newspaper notes that Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told the media after his visit to Switzerland in October that he asked the Swiss authorities to become a mediator in normalization of relations with Armenia, to “assist the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which will allow Ankara to establish relations with Yerevan.”
