Armenia International Airports notes progress in open sky policy
“Progress is already perceptible regarding the Armenian government’s statement on launching the open sky policy,” says a statement by the Armenia International Airports CJSC.
“On November 22, an agreement was reached between the Armenia International Airports CJSC and Air France to increase in the flight schedule of 2014 the number of weekly flights to 7 as compared to the last year’s 3-4 flights a week. Considerable progress is also observed in the direction of the United Arab Emirates. Instead of last year’s 7 flights a week, 11 flights shall be operated starting December of the current year.
“Armenia International Airports CJSC is presently considering the issue of increasing the number of flights with other companies as well. Developments in this direction shall be presented in the next few days.
“We are convinced that increase in the number of flights will create more favorable conditions for our passengers,” the statement read.
