Azerbaijan has put forward serious charges against the newly appointed Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov. In Azerbaijani society the decision of the newly appointed minister on returning the military officers who were retired or sent to reserve by the former Minister Safar Abiyev, was not perceived ambiguously.

As the site “Moderator.az” reports, that new staff takes the position of those who already is working in the structure and the latter complain about the illegal dismissals. According to the military expert Uzeir Jafarov, the expectations connected with the new minister are not justified.

"The reason is in redeployment of the personnel and transmission of random people to such an important structure as the Ministry of Defense. Trends are observed, which put an end to the powerful army of which Ilham Aliyev was talking. It turned out that the situation was in MO was bad. There can never be established a powerful army in such circumstances. Despite all the shortcomings and gaps there was no such chaos in personnel when Abiyev was in office. Though Abiyev itself made a lot of mistakes, but there was no such tyranny and feudalism in the army. I, personally, am extremely concerned and disappointed," stated the military expert.

According to the Azerbaijani expert, fate of the army should not be given to an envious person who would square accounts with. "The current generals are dismissed. They bring instead of them those from the reserve, who have served in a completely different structure," Jafarov revolts.
