Zhamanak: Relations of Ishkhan Zakaryan and Levon Yolyan become tense
The relations between chairman of Armenia’s Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan and his deputy Levon Yolyan have become tense, Zhamanak reports, citing its sources. Rumors have been circulating recently that Levon Yolyan, who is also a member of the Republican Party of Armenia, was the most likely candidate for the post of Control Chamber chairman.
“According to our sources in the Control Chamber, this led to tensions in relations between reelected Zakaryan and his deputy. On the one hand, Levon Yolyan who was inspired by the idea of becoming the Control Chamber chairman is disappointed and depressed, on the other hand, he faces an unfriendly attitude by Ishkhan Zakaryan. For the same reason the latter avoids direct contacts with his deputy,” the newspaper says.
