Hraparak: Only ‘Putin’s admirers’ were sent to airport
Yesterday the whole country was busy with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s state visit to Armenia: with some protesting, others rejoicing and some meeting and seeing off the Russian leader, Hraparak daily writes.
“It is noteworthy that Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan was not among those meeting and seeing off Putin,” the newspaper says.
According to the newspaper, Mr Abrahamyan did not allow MPs to miss parliament sessions and only ‘Putin’s admirers’ – Hayk Babukhanyan, Artashes Geghamyan and deputy speaker Hermine Naghdalyan – were sent to the airport.
