Hraparak: Nazaryan and Sargsyan hope to get a new position
Although former chief of Yerevan police Nerses Nazaryan realized during the recent deputy police chiefs’ reshuffle that his return to the system is delayed for an indefinite time, he is still optimistic about it, Hraparak says.
Rumors circulate that Nazaryan will soon be appointed head of the Justice Ministry’s Criminal Executive Department, to replace Hayk Harutyunyan. Former chief of Armenian police Alik Sargsyan, who is currently an advisor to the Armenian President, also seeks to get that position, the newspaper notes.
