Ghazaryan: Armenia will not sever ties with EU markets after joining Customs Union
Some of the BSEC countries are EU members, others are members of the Customs Union or are on the path of accession to the CU or EU, so the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) will be an integration bridge between European Union and Customs Union markets, President of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia Arsen Ghazaryan told reporters in Yerevan.
Mr Ghazaryan noted that Armenia will not sever relations with EU markets after joining the Customs Union – on the contrary, Armenia will continue the negotiations as well as will encourage European investments in Armenia.
“In one or two years, we will have bigger partners in the investment field. We will become a buffer platform that will facilitate the integration of those two markets,” he said.
