Vartan Oskanian denies rumors that he withdrew from Prosperous Armenia Party
The rumors that I have withdrawn from Prosperous Armenia Party and plan to set up a new party are untrue, member of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction, ex-Foreign Minister of Armenia Vartan Oskanian wrote on his Facebook page.
Oskanian also wrote that today he and another ex-Foreign Minister of Armenia, MP Alexander Arzumanyan met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin and discussed Armenian-American relations, Armenia’s decision to join the Customs Union, Armenian-Turkish relations and the Karabakh issue.
Oskanian added that at the invitation of the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR), he will travel to Strasbourg on Wednesday to discuss cooperation between Prosperous Armenia and AECR as well as the current situation and prospects of European integration processes in Armenia.
