‘Only international recognition of NKR could sober up Azerbaijan’
I don’t think there will be a great progress in the process. The only change was that the Presidents met after two years. But there are no grounds to say that the process will advance, Giro Manoyan, Director of the ARF bureau's Hay Dat and political affairs office, told reporters when asked about what has changed in the Karabakh issue after the recent meeting between the Armenian and Azeri Presidents in Vienna.
Manoyan noted that in addition to the negotiations, we should work in two directions simultaneously: try to fix the situation and secure international recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
“Only this could sober up Azerbaijan and make it more serious in the negotiations,” he said.
