Markarov: Most of Armenian population prioritizes maintenance of gas price
Director of the Armenian office of the Institute of CIS Countries, political scientist Alexander Markarov, speaking about the EU Association Agreement and the Customs Union, said during a public debate on Friday that for most of the Armenian population, the maintenance of the gas price is more important than less visible and farther issues.
According to him, opinion poll data show that the majority of respondents favor cooperation with Russia, including in the field of industry.
Meanwhile, he noted, most of the respondents said they would like to cooperate with the European Union in the fields of human rights and science.
