Markarov: Passing year marked by development of civil society
There is no political force in the opposition field which is able to consolidate the people and there is no appeal which could mobilize the protest masses, political scientist Alexander Markarov says.
Summing up the year at a meeting with reporters, the expert highlighted the development of the civil society which secures its goals through various movements. Meanwhile, he said that “no political force manages to gain dividends from protest movements because no force is able to use these movements to its benefit, which yet again proves that the civil society and the political field are separate.”
