Egg prices will not rise, says official
I am convinced that egg prices will not rise in the future, says head of the Cattle Breeding and Veterinary Department of Armenian Agriculture Ministry Ashot Hovhannisyan.
“Poultry plants operating in the country will be able to produce eggs at current prices, so the prices are not expected to rise,” he told reporters on Friday.
As for meat prices, the official said that the Agriculture Ministry had predicted that meat prices will drop and stressed that a decrease in meat prices was registered in recent months. According to him, the current trends suggest that meat prices will not rise sharply in the coming year.
