Session of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council underway in Moscow
The Eurasian Supreme Economic Council is holding a session at the level of the heads of state in Moscow, the official website of the Kremlin reported.
Vladimir Putin of Russia, Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus and Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan discussed the key directions of cooperation between the three countries as well as the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The leaders of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine joined the meeting later to discuss Armenia’s and Kyrgyzstan’s joining the Eurasian integration project.
