James Warlick: Armenia and Azerbaijan should respect Presidents' commitment and ceasefire
U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick commented on Twitter on the recent ceasefire violations by Azeri forces, as a result of which two Armenian servicemen were injured and one died.
“Armenia and Azerbaijan should respect the Presidents' commitment and the ceasefire. More violence is not acceptable. Peace,” he wrote.
Servicemen of NKR Defense Army Hovhannes Davtyan and Erik Karapetyan, both aged 19, were injured by shots fired by Azeri forces on December 22 at the frontline positions of a southern military unit of the NKR Defense Army.
Earlier, on December 14, Armenian contract serviceman Hrant Poghosyan was killed by Azeri fire.
