Serzh Sargsyan meets Rosneft chairman Igor Sechin
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Wednesday a delegation headed by Igor Sechin, chairman of Rosneft – the largest state oil company of Russia.
Issues related to the development of Rosneft’s cooperation with Armenia in the economic sector were discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives of Rosneft, Pirelli Tyre Russia and Rosneft-Armenia Companies signed a number of agreements aimed at expanding the cooperation, including a Memorandum of Understanding for establishing in Armenia a joint venture for production of butadiene-styrene rubber, the presidential press service reported.
