Hraparak: Tsarukyan honors best sportsmen
President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan hosted an appraisal event at his Paravon Restaurant on Thursday to honor the best sportsmen of 2013. Head of Presidential Administration Vigen Sargsyan and second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan were in attendance.
“The event was organized as an alternative to the award ceremony of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. Despite the fact that sport is not sufficiently developed in our country, there are two alternative lists of the best sportsmen drawn up, with the organizers boycotting each other’s event,” Hraparak daily writes.
