Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra to perform with Krzysztof Penderecki
The Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra will give a concert on January 16 at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall as part of Krzysztof Penderecki Days in Armenia, a special project dedicated to the 80th birthday of the great composer held on the sidelines of Yerevan Perspectives 15th International Music Festival.
The concert program will feature Penderecki’s Symphony No. 2, DE NATURA SONORIS No.3 and Concerto Doppio for violin and viola.
The soloists are Agata Szymczewska, violin, and Robert Kabara, viola. The conductors are Krzysztof Penderecki and Eduard Topchjan, the website of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra reported.
