96 fires, 12 poisonings reported during New Year’s holiday
96 fires and 15 road accidents were reported between December 31 and January 7 in Armenia. 28 people were injured in those road accidents. The number of accidents has decreased as compared to 2013, according to the Crisis Management Center of Armenian Emergency Ministry.
12 poisonings were reported in the indicated period, with 21 people affected. Six corpses were found, two suicide attempts were reported. The number of poisonings has also decreased compared to the same period in 2013, while the number of suicide attempts and corpses found has increased.
