Ambulance Service hospitalized 1,139 people in early January
The Ambulance Service worked with busy schedule in 2013, director of the service, Taguhi Stepanyan, says.
“217,597 calls were received in 2013, which marked an increase by 16,140 as compared to 2012. In 39,530 of the calls received in 2013, the patients were hospitalized,” she told reporters in Yerevan.
The service also had busy work schedule during the New Year holiday period, the Ambulance chief said, adding that the number of calls received by the Ambulance Service increased by 879 as compared to the same period of last year. 1,139 people were hospitalized during the New Year holiday period, she said.
