Georgian citizen dies in car crash in Armenia
The Rescue Service of the Armenian Emergency Ministry received a call at 3:01am on January 13 about a car crash near the village of Tsoghamarg in Shirak province. A rescue team was sent to the scene.
It was found out that a Scania car drove off the road and overturned at the 26th kilometer of Gyumri-Bavra highway. The driver, a Georgian citizen, 57, died on the spot. The passenger, also a Georgian citizen, 32, was transported to a hospital with injuries.
According to the doctors, the injured man is in satisfactory condition.
