Analyst on sensation caused by Robert Kocharyan’s interview
I see no reasons for the situation in the country to change, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan told reporters, while commenting on the sensation caused by the latest interview of Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan.
Asked if Kocharyan’s interview is evidence of his intention to return to politics, Iskandaryan said that he cannot make prognoses. “Everything is possible,” the analyst said.
According to Iskandaryan, this sensation is a result of the lack of serious political figures in the parliament and in politics in general.
“If there were serious opposition parties and serious political struggle for serious issues and the parliament were an arena of struggle, then no one would pay attention to any interviews,” he concluded.
